When I was in pre-college, I used to use the Galamian Scale System book. I used the version of the book which was only available for violin at the time. It was a pain transposing it for viola. I recently found out that a version of this book for viola was just published and I just bought a copy about a week ago. It is terrific! I just wished this book had existed back then.
